Lychee

Hi again dear followers,

Everyone loves cats, we know this for a fact. Today I'm showing you a picture of one of my sisters cats called Lychee. The picture was taken around Christmas 2009, when she was still a kitten. As she is a Maine Coon - housecat crossover she's quite big now; but still just as cute! As you may have noticed, I love working with (ultra) wide angle lenses. These work especially well with animals, as this effect takes you more into the action.

Urban Exploring

Hi again my dear followers.

Today I'm showing you some pictures of a cattle feed factory in my area that has been demolished. These were taken in March last year, shortly before demolition started. The factory, Dossche Mills, has been out of production since a merger with another nearby cattle feed factory in 2002. Since then it has been a great place for urban exploring.

Energy drinks

Hi everyone,

This time I'm showing you my collection of energy drink cans. This picture shows 74 cans of energy drink, giving a total amount of 22,5 liters of caffeine glory! I'm not counting the ones on the left as I'm focusing my collection on cans rather than other beverage containers. Since this picture was taken 3 more cans were added, but there's a TV in front of them now, so it's harder to photograph. If you're feeling generous, feel free to send me one of your local energy drinks that's not in my collection as of yet, will be greatly appreciated! :D Thanks for reading!

My neighbours goat, lol!

Hey all,

I'm back this time with a picture of my neighbors goat. :D I totally lacked inspiration one day last august, so I made some pics of the goats in my neighbors backyard. Of the series, I liked this one the most. Used a Canon 450D with a Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM at f/1.8. Exposure time was 1/500th of a second at ISO 100. Somewhat outside my style, yet a fun subject for once. Let me know what you guys think. ^^

 

Blogging time

Alright, I started this a while ago, but due to a lot of school work never got into it. As spring break starts today, I'll be having more time to explore blogger as it seems an enjoyable medium for sharing my thoughts with you all. 

For now I don't really have a main subject, but since I'm into photography and music I'll be posting some of my photos and favorite tracks here, as well as anything interesting I come across. I hope you enjoy my posts!

For starters, I'm uploading a picture I made a while ago experimenting with the HDR functionality of my camera. This was in my what photographers call the HDR-gap, as most people tend to way overdo the tone-mapping in HDR photos. However, I think this one isn't over the top. What do you guys think?
